NOTE TO SELF — BOOMERANG EFFECTMy words, thoughts and deeds have a boomerang effect. So be-careful what you send out!

About This Quote

Here is a simple, yet powerful example. Not long ago, I received a letter from a friend who was undergoing chemotherapy. The letter talked about how hard it was to be sick and to not be able to do the things you love most. It talked about how much courage it takes to fight cancer and that we should all do whatever we can to help those battling this disease. I immediately replied and told my friend that I was thinking of her and that we were all praying for her recovery.

After she read this message, she wrote back with a message of gratitude and encouragement for me as well as for everyone else who had offered their support. We often make mistakes when we send out messages via email or text messages because we don't know the full impact of what we write. We don't realize that our words can affect others in ways we never imagined.
